How should we prepare for our portrait session?

Make sure you have enough time to prepare before the shoot so you are not stressed out. Wear comfortable fitting clothes for the season. With kids it helps to bring something to drink or some snacks to make it easy for them as well.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we ask for a 20% deposit to save the date.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Check, Credit/Debit Card (5% fee), PayPal & Venmo (5% fee)

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes we do! Many venues will require the photographer to have liability insurance. If your venue requires this, let us know and we will be happy to provide all of the details.

How far should we book in advance?

For weddings, typically 6 to 12 months in advance is a good time frame. If you’re getting married during our busy season (from May to October), we recommended 10 to 18 months. All other sessions can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance.

When will we get our photos?

For the best quality post production, our turnaround for wedding photos is 3 to 6 weeks. For portrait sessions, it is 1 to 2 weeks.

How do you deliver the images?

Delivery is made via a private online gallery. USB delivery is available for purchase.

Do you offer an online gallery?

Yes! We will send a link to your private online gallery by Smugmug. You will get unlimited free downloads along with keepsakes and prints starting at $.44 for a 4x6. We never delete these galleries.

How many photographers do you work with?

We mainly work as a team of two, but will occasionally hire an assistant to help with larger weddings.

Do you bring backup equipment?

Absolutely! We never leave home without a backup set.

Do you backup your images? How can we be sure our images won’t get lost?

In our editing process we ensure that we have multiple copies of your images at all times on hard drives as well as the cloud. We’ll also store your images for a minimum of one year on our hard drives. We offer a private online gallery with all sessions and never delete these. Either way, please make sure you back them up as well.

Do you travel?

Yes, of course! Please let us know where you are planning to have your wedding and we can discuss it further in detail.

Are you flexible with your pricing?

Yes, throughout the year we will offer discounts up to 20% OFF all sessions. Be sure to follow us on social media to see our next promotion.

Where can I change outfits?

In the event that we will not be near anywhere where you can change, we will bring a neat little pop-up tent. It will be your own personal dressing room.
